The Accommodation

Marjory Cottage Bunkhouse accommodates fifteen or so people in a simple two storey structure with three small dormitories, all with hot and cold water. There is also a kitchen dining area, showers and toilets.

As the building is small, activities that take place within it have to be fairly carefully managed. Some aspects of the building are environmentally experimental, rain water for instance, is collected and used to flush toilets, (there is a mains backup). All waste generated is composted or separated, glass and aluminium are recycled, a small sack of unreclaimable rubbish is left for the dustman,

Both floors have fire exits and all dormitories have smoke alarms. Fire fighting equipment is to hand throughout the building.

Groups larger than fifteen can be split, with half of the group camping on a secluded grassy area about 60m from the bunkhouse.
